Rick Gibson I am Rick Gibson and the owner and principal attorney at the Law Office of Rick Gibson & Associates and the Common Sense Elder Law Firm. I grew up in St. Louis with my parents, 2 brothers a sister and of course, the family dog. From there I went to college at Quincy College (now Quincy University) then on to law school at the University of Notre Dame. Since graduating in 1985 from Notre Dame, I have practiced primarily in Missouri and Illinois, though I have tried cases in 6 different states. I started the Common Sense Elder Law Firm for people like my parents. Our population is aging and there is a great need for lawyers who can meet the needs of older persons. We provide full range of elder law services including Medicaid Planning, Asset Protection, Trusts, Estate Planning, Last Will & Testament, Powers of Attorney for property and Healthcare and Living Wills. I live in Godfrey, IL with my wife Missy and sons Dan and Nick.
Marsha Hinckle Marsha has been a legal secretary for longer than she will admit for fear it may reveal a clue as to her true age. Through the years she has worked in all areas of the law and has become very good at listening and understanding the unique problems that our clients bring to this office for a solution. Marsha lives in Bunker Hill, IL with her husband, Joe and daughters, Tiffany and Courtney. Much of the last several years have been spent watching Tiffany and Courtney pitch for softball teams throughout Southern Illinois.
Mary Rosenow Mary is the legal assistant you will be dealing with the most. She will walk you through the information gathering that is so vitally important to proper planning. She assists with creating of the Medicaid, Estate Planning and Probate Documents. In her spare time, Mary likes to play tennis, travel and go on tandem bike rides with her husband Steve. Mary has three adult children Alicia, Ashley and Alex who know that mom is still the one to come to when a problem needs fixed.
