LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT
A will is a legal document that explains how a person wants their assets distributed upon their death. If there are minor children a guardian and a trustee to manage the children’s money can be appointed within the last will and testament. You also appoint the person you want to handle your affairs after you die (the executor or personal representative). The executor or personal representative assures that assets are collected, bills are paid and that the remaining assets go where you want them to go. The legal requirements and even some of the terminology are a bit different whether you are in Missouri or Illinois.

You want to make sure you have an attorney who knows the differences. We have prepared Wills for people in Madison, St. Clair, Jersey, Macoupin, Sangamon, Green, Calhoun, Monroe and Adams counties in Illinois and in St, Louis City and County, St. Charles and Lake Ozark, Missouri.
